Truth or Dare Wheel

Spin to decide whether the next person gets a truth or a dare. The default wheel mixes both with a Wild Card for when your group makes up its own rule. Or replace them with your own prompts and let the wheel pick the exact question.

The wheel keeps the game moving: nobody has to choose, nobody can stall, and the result is the same for everyone.

Two ways to play

Simple: keep Truth, Dare and Wild Card on the wheel. Spin once per turn, then the group sets the question or the challenge.

Prepared: write your own prompts on the wheel, one per line, such as a specific truth question or a specific dare. Turn on auto-remove so a prompt is not repeated in the same game. This works well when you want to keep the game in line with the room, for example a family-friendly set for mixed ages, or a work-safe set at an office social.

Keeping it fun for everyone

Agree a pass rule before you start, such as one free skip per person, and write prompts everyone would be comfortable seeing come up. A wheel full of challenges that only half the group enjoys stops being a game quickly.

Entries repeat as often as you type them, so if your group prefers truths, enter Truth more times than Dare.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I write my own truths and dares?

Yes. Replace the default lines with your own prompts, one per line. Each becomes a segment on the wheel.

Why does Truth appear twice on the default wheel?

Each line is its own segment, so the default mix gives Truth and Dare two segments each and Wild Card one. Change the number of lines to change the odds.

How do I stop the same dare coming up again?

Turn on auto-remove in the winner window. Each prompt leaves the wheel after it comes up.

Can we play on one phone?

Yes. Pass the phone around and tap the wheel to spin. Your prompts stay saved in that browser for next time.
