Number Generator Wheel

A wheel numbered 1 to 10 out of the box. Spin it for a random number, or change the list to any range or set of numbers you need, such as 1 to 6 to replace a lost die, or 1 to 30 to pick a day of the month.

Seeing the number come up on a wheel makes it feel fairer than a number appearing on a screen, which matters for raffles, classroom games and anything where people want to watch the draw.

Setting your own range

Each line in the entries panel is one segment, so a range is just a list of numbers. For a ticket draw, list the ticket numbers that were actually sold rather than a full block, so unsold numbers cannot win. For uneven odds, which is useful in some games, enter a number more than once.

The wheel is clearest up to a few dozen numbers. If you need to pick from hundreds or thousands, split it into steps: spin a hundreds wheel, then a tens wheel, then a units wheel. Each step is fair, so the combined result is too.

Drawing more than one number

To draw several numbers without repeats, as in a raffle or bingo-style game, turn on auto-remove in the winner window. Each number leaves the wheel once drawn, and the Results tab keeps the full sequence so you can read the winners back afterwards.

What is the number generator wheel for?

  • Games: dice rolls, board games, random picks
  • Raffles: pick winning numbers fairly
  • Random selection: choose a number from any range
  • Education: teach probability and randomness
  • Contests: fair number-based draws
  • Decisions: 1–5 rating, spin to choose
  • Lotteries: simulate fair number draws

How to use the number generator wheel

Add numbers (1–10 by default) using the input field. Add or remove numbers to create any range—e.g. 1–6 for dice. Click the wheel to spin and pick a random number.

How does the number generator wheel work?

Our wheel uses cryptographic randomness. Each number has an equal chance. Add 1–6 for dice, 1–100 for percentages, or any custom range you need.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I pick a number between 1 and 100?

You can, by listing 1 to 100, but the labels get very small at that size. Spinning a tens wheel (0 to 9) and then a units wheel (0 to 9) gives the same fair result and is much easier to read.

Can I stop a number from coming up twice?

Turn on auto-remove in the winner window. Each number is taken off the wheel after it is drawn.

Is every number equally likely?

Yes. Every segment is the same size and the stopping point comes from your browser's cryptographic random number generator.

Can I use it as dice?

Enter 1 to 6 for a standard die. For other dice, such as a 12-sided one, list 1 to 12.
