Raffle Wheel

A raffle wheel turns a prize draw into something the whole room can watch. Put the prizes, or the ticket holders, on the wheel and spin. Because the result happens in plain sight, nobody has to take your word for who won.

It suits school fairs, office parties, club nights and charity events, anywhere a hat full of paper slips would work but a screen is already up.

Two ways to run the draw

Prize wheel style: each segment is a prize, and each ticket holder spins once to see what they win. Add Try Again segments if not everyone should win something. The more Try Again lines you add, the lower the chance of a prize on each spin.

Ticket style: each segment is a ticket number or a name, and you spin once per prize, starting with the smallest prize and ending with the top one. Turn on auto-remove so a winning ticket leaves the wheel and cannot win a second prize.

Keeping a charity draw above board

Show the full list of entries on screen before the first spin so people can check their name is there. Read each winner out from the winner window, and use the Results tab at the end to read back the full order of winners. If the event is being recorded or streamed, the spin itself is your proof the draw was fair.

Raffle rules for fundraising vary by country and region, so check any local requirements for selling tickets before the event. The wheel handles the draw, not the licensing.

What is the raffle wheel for?

  • Events: fair prize draws at parties and gatherings
  • Fundraisers: pick winners for charity raffles
  • Social media: run giveaways with transparent selection
  • Classroom rewards: pick students for prizes fairly
  • Store promotions: spin-to-win campaigns
  • Contests: random winner selection
  • Giveaways: add "Try Again" for extra excitement

How to use the raffle wheel

Add your prizes (one per line) to the raffle wheel. Include "Try Again" slots to adjust odds. Click the wheel to spin and pick a winner. Remove winners after each spin for multiple draws.

How does the raffle wheel work?

Each prize has an equal chance based on how many times it appears. Add "Try Again" multiple times to lower the odds of winning. Uses cryptographic randomness for fair results.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I stop one person winning twice?

Turn on auto-remove in the winner window. Each winning entry is taken off the wheel before the next spin.

Someone bought five tickets. How do I enter them?

Enter their name five times, or list each ticket number separately. Every line is an equal segment, so five entries give five times the chance.

Can people trust the result?

The stopping point is drawn from your browser's cryptographic random number generator and every segment is the same size. Spinning it live on a shared screen lets everyone see that.

Can I save the raffle and finish it later?

Your entries stay saved in the browser you used. Keep that tab or browser for the event, or use Copy link to keep a backup of the entries.
