Press Space to spin
The restaurant picker ends the where-should-we-eat conversation. Start with the cuisine defaults or replace them with the actual places near you, spin, and go.
It works for a couple deciding on Friday dinner, an office choosing a team lunch, or friends in a new city who cannot agree.
Cuisines are a good start, but the decision gets faster when the wheel holds actual restaurants. Put your regulars on it, plus a couple of places you keep meaning to try. Leave off anywhere someone in the group would veto, so whatever comes up is a yes for everyone.
Save the wheel with Copy link and drop it into the group chat. Anyone who opens it gets the same list, and your own copy stays saved in your browser for next week.
If the group cannot even agree on a cuisine, spin twice: first a cuisine wheel, then a wheel of places that serve it. Or let each person add one place, enter every suggestion once, and spin. Everyone had a fair chance and nobody has to argue for their pick.
Add restaurant names or cuisines (one per line)—e.g. "Joe's Pizza" or "Thai food." Click the wheel to spin and let it decide where to eat. Remove options you're not in the mood for and spin again.
Add your options and spin. Each restaurant has an equal chance. Uses cryptographic randomness—no bias, no favoritism. Don't like the result? Remove it and spin again.
Mathematically Fair Results
No. It picks from the list you give it. Add the places you would actually go to, and the wheel chooses one at random.
Enter it twice. It gets twice the space on the wheel, so it comes up more often while the others still have a chance.
Yes. Copy link builds your entries into a link, so anyone who opens it gets the same wheel.
That tells you the list needs editing. Take that place off and spin again, but agree to accept the second spin.
