Press Space to spin
The decision maker wheel is for the moments when you have weighed everything and the options are still neck and neck. List them, spin once, and commit to what comes up.
Use it for the everyday stuff where any option would be fine: what to cook, which film, which errand first, which of three nearly identical hotels. It is not a replacement for thinking, it is what you reach for after the thinking stops helping.
A random result is useful even when you do not follow it. Spin, then pay attention to the half second after it lands. Relief means go ahead. A small sinking feeling means you preferred something else, and now you know which one.
For group decisions, agree before the spin that the result stands. It sounds obvious, but it stops the wheel from turning into the first round of a longer argument.
If one option is a slight favorite, give it more space by entering it twice. If something is a long shot you would still accept, enter it once alongside doubled favorites. The wheel stays fair to the list you give it, so the list is where you express a preference.
Keep it to options you would genuinely accept. Two to eight works well. If you would be unhappy with an option, leave it off the wheel.
Yes. Turn on auto-remove and spin repeatedly to knock options out one at a time. The last one left is the decision, or stop when only your top two remain.
No. It picks at random from what you entered, with equal odds per segment. Any preference has to come from how you build the list.
Yes. The list is saved in your browser until you change or clear it.
